How To Win

There is never any purchase necessary to win our giveaways at PingandWin (see official rules)

Most giveaways are open for 1-2 weeks from their posting date.

3 Ways to Win

There are typically three ways to enter a giveaway:

  1. comment - leave a comment (with a valid e-mail so we can contact you). this will get you 1 entry
  2. blog and link - if you have a blog, linking to the giveaway entry and mentioning the giveaway will get you more entries (10 or more)
  3. leave a video response - all our featured products will have a video review posted on YouTube. Reply to this video with a video of your own (follow the instruction on the giveaway page). You’ll earn at least 10 entries for this.

Calculating the Winner

Once the giveaway period has passed. We will tally all blog trackbacks, video responses and comments. For example, lets say a giveaway generates 10 video replies, 20 blog trackbacks and 100 comments.

The 10 video replies would generate entries 1-100. The 20 blog trackbacks would be entries 101-300. The comments would generate entries 301-400. Thus, the odds vary based on the number of participants. Once we have the total entries, a random number will be generated (using random.org) to determine the winner.

Increase your chances

To increase your odds of winning, participate in all entry options. For example: you could leave a video response, a comment, and blog trackback for a total of 21 entries using the above example. Multiple comments will be deleted (and are very easy to track).

    There are plenty of good points here, but I’m not sure that under real-time search being discarded. I agree that it is very important, but not the point of that to show what people are saying today about a topic.
