What rocked?

  • Easy to use. After 2-3 test liters, I was a soda-making machine.
  • Root Beer Flavor. Yum
  • Reusable 1-liter bottles.
  • The “hissssss” sound when you’re done carbonating….cool.
  • Sleek, slim profile design fits nicely next to your coffee machine.

What bombed?

  • Lightweight plastic felt flimsy, cheap.
  • Some flavors weren’t so hot. Experiment to get full enjoyment.

    We made homemade root beer as a child. It took forever with many steps, and it was awful. This looks so much easier and quite tasty from the look of things.

    Amazing… the opportunity to control the strength of flavor and amount of sugar in the soda my kids drink would be such a wonderful thing. I’ve often felt that commercial sodas add way more flavoring and coloring than sodas really need to have, and I often end up “cutting” my supplies with plain seltzer water to stretch my budget and control sugar intake. With this I could do it from the very beginning without worrying about the kids fussing if they catch me diluting their soda with seltzer… LOL
